Who We Are

Meet Rick Rhodes

Rick’s current career in financial matters began with the personal insurance industry. As an insurance agent he assisted individuals in the selection of health, life, long term care and fixed annuity insurance products. Eventually, he became a wholesaler/trainer in these products and focused on teaching other agents how to present these risk mitigation tools effectively and ethically.

Rick  then embarked on a more financial focus as an advisor with CitiGroup/Smith Barney, which transitioned to Morgan Stanley/Smith Barney. In July 2010, he joined Raymond James Financial Services  where he was a financial advisor for over a decade before becoming a fully independent Registered Investment Advisor(RIA).

Rick graduated from Stetson University with a Masters of Accountancy, where he was both Beta Gamma Sigma and Student of the Year.  Prior to Stetson, he completed his Bachelor of Business Administration with a Major in Accounting at Florida Atlantic University.

In addition to being a Certified Public Accountant (CPA),  he is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) practitioner since 2007, a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA®) since 2014.

Rick is also trained in the Collaborative Divorce process, helping people reach mutually beneficial outcomes in challenging situations.

In addition to his designations, Rick’s professional licensing include the Series 66 license and insurance licensing from the State of Florida.

Rick is a lifetime resident of West Palm Beach, Florida and has three adult children and two grandchildren who live nearby. His interests include hydroponic gardening and traveling with his wife, Tami, when time allows.
